If you’re looking for a way to help those in need this holiday season, then consider providing food for Youth for Tomorrow.
The organization is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for local families in need, according to a release.
According to a release, Youth for Tomorrow hopes to deliver a Thanksgiving meal and other groceries to help fill these families’ pantries this holiday season. While food is being delivered to families today, the organization will be extending their holiday food drive until Christmas, to make sure they can help as many families as possible.
Items Youth for Tomorrow is collecting, according to a release:
Peanut butter
Canned tuna or salmon
Raisins or dried fruit
Granola bars
100% Juice box drinks
Crackers
Whole grain cereal
Mac and cheese
Nuts and seeds like sunflower seeds
Canned vegetables
Canned beans, baked beans
Canned fruit, applesauce
Rice
Soups
Condiments
Snacks
Baking goods
Coffee & tea
Pasta and sauces
Cash raised will be used to purchase fresh, perishable items.
