Young students have a chance to show off their artwork.
Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is now accepting entries for its Youth Art Contest. The Theme is “Trip to the Zoo” and entries are due May 4.
Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade can express themselves and even win some prizes.
This contest encourages youthful creativity and will give participants the chance to show off their artwork to over 1.3 million readers, according to Cooperative Living Executive Editor Richard G. Johnstone.
First place winners receive $25, while “Best in Show” will receive $100. Winners will also be published in the July issue of Cooperative Living. For additional information about the contest and how to enter check out their website.
