Parents and guardians of teenagers who have autism can gain insight at an upcoming workshop.
Autism Society of Northern Virginia Program Director Rose Sutton will give a presentation, “What Parents Need to Know about Teenagers and Autism,” on Wednesday.
Self advocacy, dating and independence are a few topics that will be covered at the free workshop, which is occurring from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Sutton is going to talk about resources, as well.
The presentation will be held at Training Room 2 of The Arc of Greater Prince William/Muriel Humphrey Center, 13505 Hillendale Drive in Dale City.
