OmniRide users may see a change in their afternoon and evening commute plans.
Due to a “work stoppage,” OmniRide is using a revised version of its Emergency Service Plan (ESP) today, according to a release from agency.
Its bus services are ending early today in order to make sure enough drivers are available on Friday morning.
Express buses are running to and from the Pentagon on I-95 and to and from Tysons Corner Metro Station along I-66. Buses for other routes are operating on their regular schedule.
OmniRide passengers will not need to pay to use the service.
Commuters are also advised to travel on the Metro Express bus to Franconia-Springfield, or use the VIrginia Railway Express (VRE) or slugging service.
