Thrift store chain 2nd Avenue Value Stores has rebranded and updated their Woodbridge store The Village Thrift.
According to a release, the chain’s 13770 Smoketown Road location has been updated the store as the “latest response to increasingly elevated consumer expectations of resale shopping.”
All 2nd Avenue stores offer clothing, household items, and collectibles.
“We have served the Woodbridge community for over a decade as an anchor for the Smoketown Plaza. Our rebranding efforts in this store welcomes the millennial shopper while remaining true to the values that have kept customers of all ages coming back,” stated 2nd Avenue Value Stores CEO Tony Peressini in a release.
As part of the update, the store has hired more staff members, including bi-lingual employees, modernized the look of the store, and added a children’s play area.
A release stated that the store chain purchases their products in partnership with several charities including the American Red Cross, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, St. Vincent DePaul of Philadelphia, and the National Federation of the Blind, contributing toward these charities.
