Community members have a chance to support non-profits – through a round of golf.
Woodbridge Rotary Club has scheduled its annual Devaney-O’Hop Memorial Golf Tournament for June 16.
The 19th annual event begins at 8:30 a.m. at Old Hickory Golf Club, 11921 Chanceford Drive in Lake Ridge.
It costs $125 for each golfer, and $100 for educators, first responders and those in the military. Tickets may be purchased on eventbrite. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Proceeds from the program will go to local and international charities.
The Devaney-O’Hop Memorial Golf Tournament is named in memory of Joe Devaney and Bill O’Hop, two rotary members who were golf enthusiasts.
Woodbridge Rotary Club is a supporter of various non-profits, including Action in Community Through Service (ACTS), The Arc of Greater Prince William, and the boys and girls clubs. According to the rotary club’s website, meetings are held at Noon on Thursdays at The Harbour Grille, 13188 Marina Way in Woodbridge.
