The upcoming Habitat for Humanity Prince William County ReStore location in Woodbridge will open its doors on October 21.
With donations flowing in, signage hung, and the interior prepared, Habitat for Humanity Prince William County will open their second location. The other ReStore is in Manassas.
The 20,000-square foot store is located in the former Food Lion building at the corner of Minnieville Road and Prince William Parkway.
According to a release, all of the store’s inventory of building materials, tools, furniture, and home décor is donated by community members.
“The donated merchandise is sold to the public at 40%-90% off retail prices. The constantly changing inventory offers deals for bargain shoppers, do-it-yourselfers and treasure hunters. Habitat for Humanity uses the funds raised through the ReStore in its home ownership and home repair programs to create safe and secure places for families to grow, be healthy and thrive,” stated a release.
The store began taking donations last week, and individuals can bring their items to donate between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
“We know people have been waiting for the Woodbridge store to open for a long time and so have we! We are looking forward to being in this convenient location for our Woodbridge supporters,” stated Habitat for Humanity Prince William County President Traci DeGroat in a release.
The store’s normal hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
