Race day is just around the corner for area runners and walkers.
Alaina’s Gift, a Woodbridge-based non-profit, is having a “Remembering Our Angels 5k Walk/Run.”
The program starts at 7:30 a.m. on October 5 at Occoquan Regional Park, 9751 Ox Road in Lorton.
Organizers are dedicating the 5K to those who have experienced a miscarriage or lost an infant, according to a release from Alaina’s Gift.
Individuals interested in participating may sign up online.
Proceeds from the program will support Alaina’s Gift, which seeks to raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss.
