A Woodbridge man won $125,000, and someone in Gainesville has a winning Virginia lottery ticket worth around $7.5 million.
Julio Agosto, a Woodbridge resident, bought 25 tickets at the Dale City Shell for the Virginia Lottery’s ‘Pick 4’ drawing on June 28, all with the same number combination – 1-2-3-4, according to a release.
That was the winning combination, as all of his tickets won $5,000 each, for a grand total of a $125,000 win from the Virginia Lottery, according to a release.
And someone bought a winning Mega Millions ticket in Gainesville, now worth $7.5 million, stated a release.
“The ticket was one of two nationwide that matched all six numbers in the July 22 drawing. Those two tickets, which were bought in Virginia and Georgia, will split the estimated $15 million jackpot,” stated a release.
According to a release, the winning Virginia ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on 7489 Limestone Drive in Gainesville, with the winning numbers 8-24-25-26-30 and the Mega Ball number 7.
The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the $7.5 million, according to a release.
