A Woodbridge resident has won $100,000 from the Virginia Lottery.
Sharon Fentress-Bussey recently bought a lottery ticket from Shoppers, 4174 Fortuna Center in Dumfries.
The five numbers the civil service worker chose matched those drawn in a Cash 5 game on January 14, according to a release from the Virginia Lottery.
Numbers connected with her son’s birthday were among the winning numbers, which were 4-7-9-23-32.
Players of Cash 5 have a 1 in 278,256 chance of winning $100,000.
The drawings occur at 1:59 p.m. and 11 p.m. every day.
