White Horse Auto Wash is supporting various non-profits this upcoming weekend.
The full service car wash is holding fundraisers at several of its locations on August 26, 27 and 28.
Funds raised at the Woodbridge site, 15705 Richmond Highway; and the Franconia site, 6215 Charles Arrington Drive; are going to the Humane Society of Northern Virginia (HSNV).
For each ceramic coating, $5 will go to HSNV, a Dumfries-based organization. Customers who aren’t interested in ceramic coating will be able to make a donation, according to Karen Nalls Kerns, director of marketing for White Horse Auto Wash.
White Horse Auto Wash has businesses throughout Virginia and South Carolina.
“We do your vacuuming, we do your dashes and your cup holders, where other car washes – you have to do the vacuuming afterwards and you have to dry your car off,” Nalls Kerns said. “We do that part for you.”
Three other Virginia sites are raising funds for non-profits this weekend, as well.
These are the other locations that are hosting fundraisers and which non-profits they are supporting:
- The Charlottesville site – 995 Seminole Trail – is supporting the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA
- Proceeds from the one in Culpepper – 460 James Madison Highway – are going to the Culpeper Humane Society
- The Front Royal business – 214 Country Club Road – is raising funds for the Humane Society of Warren County
“We’re not just here to wash cars,” Nalls Kerns explained. “We’re here to help our communities and kind of give back to our community at … anytime that we possibly can.”
