It’s time for the annual Spring Migration Bird Walk at the Julie J. Metz Neabsco Creek Wetlands Preserve in Woodbridge.
According to a release, the free walk will be held on April 9, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 15875 Neabsco Road.
The Wetlands Preserve is a unique 120-acre property in Woodbridge that is home to a very diverse bird population, according to a release.
Local birding experts will be running the guided walk along the site’s trails and boardwalks, according to a release.
Participants are asked to bring binoculars and guide books, and to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes, stated a release.
