A water main break is going to cause some delays on Route 1 near Dumfries today.
According to a statement from the Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA), the right northbound lane of Route 1, just north of Route 234, is closed as repairs are completed on the water main.
Currently the left northbound lane on Route 1 is open, stated PWCSA.
“The closed northbound lane will not likely reopen to traffic until Friday afternoon,” potentially causing further Friday afternoon traffic delays.
