This summer, a program will teach about water and waste water in Prince William County.
Registration is now open for the Prince William County Service Authority’s (PWCSA) third annual Water Academy.
Scheduled for June 19 through July 24, the program is occurring on Wednesday evenings.
In addition to activities, participants will be able to tour the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility in Woodbridge and a water storage tank.
So far, more than 40 citizens have completed the academy.
“We have received extremely positive evaluations from graduates about their Water Academy experiences,” Deputy Communications Director Kathy Bentz said in a release. “Our alumni include teachers, who receive continuing education credits; local business owners; engineers; environmental professionals; college students; and retirees.”
Individuals can learn more information or register on the PWCSA website. Applications are due May 15.
