Community members have an opportunity to help adults build their skill set.
Literacy Volunteers of America — Prince William (LVA-PW) is hosting a Tutor Training Workshop.
Based out of Dale City, LVA-PW offers classroom and one-on-one tutoring on an array of topics, such as reading, writing and citizenship.
The upcoming training will take place at Chinn Park Regional Library, 13065 Chinn Park Drive in Woodbridge.
They are occurring from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 11 and 9 a.m. to Noon on January 25.
Prospective volunteer tutors are required to attend both meetings.
