Learning doesn’t stop at Literacy Volunteers of America — Prince William (LVA-PW).
Established in 1991, the Woodbridge-based non-profit helps local adults gain life skills.
It offers programs that focus on various topics, including reading, writing, citizenship and job readiness.
Community members can make sure individuals continue gain necessary skills by becoming a volunteer.
The literacy program will host a Tutor Training Workshop from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 2 and from 9 a.m. to Noon on March 16.
Those interested in becoming a tutor must participate in both training sessions.
To register for the workshop, contact LVA-PW at 703-670-5702 or lvapw@lvapw.org.
