An upcoming program is allowing students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (STEAM).
The first annual One World STEAM Summit will be held on May 22.
One World: From Science to Serve is a coalition that seeks to educate students and increase their knowledge about STEAM, introduce youth to different fields, and inspire others globally to check out STEAM careers.
Middle and high school students may attend the virtual event, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They will be able to meet professionals and participate in workshops that focus on various topics, such as resume building and STEAM opportunities.
“We will be having distinguished speakers and keynotes from all around the U.S. speaking with us, and we hope this will be an invaluable experience for any student hoping to get into STEAM,” One World: From Science to Service Co-Founder and Co-President Shan Lateef wrote in an email.
Registration for the One World STEAM Summit is available on Zoom.
