StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries feeds and houses members of the homeless community.
In addition to working with Prince William County to run the Overnight Shelter in Woodbridge, it offers homeless prevention services.
The non-profit also provides a food pantry and clothing closet, and reaches out to individuals who are residing in tents.
Opening a Hope Center is its long-term goal.
To continue operating, StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries is raising needed funds through a Virtual Fundraiser & Charity Raffle.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on June 12, the event will feature various speakers, including Potomac District Supervisor Andrea Bailey, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton and Congressman Rob Wittman.
Those interested in participating in the Virtual Fundraiser & Charity Raffle must RSVP.
They can sign up, buy raffle tickets and donate on the Streetlight Community Outreach Ministries website.
More information about the Hope Center project can be found on the non-profit’s website.
