Are you a veteran that needs a job, wants a career change, or needs information about services? Then head to the Veterans Job Fair event in Woodbridge.
The free event, hosted by Stratford University’s Woodbridge Campus, will be on April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Woodbridge at 14349 Gideon Drive.
The job fair is open to all veterans, active duty military, and military dependents, and the general public can attend.
According to a release, there will be several agencies and organizations that provide military and veteran’s assistance that will be on-site. Health information and information on veteran’s benefits, the GI Bill, education opportunities, and job opportunities will be available for attendees, stated a release.
“In addition, Stratford University employment specialists will be on hand to review resumes and offer interview instruction,” stated a release.

“We should be doing all we can to support our veterans and active duty military personnel. I am pleased to be a partner in bringing this much needed resource and jobs fair to Prince William County,” stated former delegate Michael Futrell.
Veterans are encouraged to bring DD214 or proof of military service for the opportunity to file claims on location, stated a release. Lunch will be provided at no charge to veterans and active duty military personnel in attendance, according to a release.
