A parade is coming to Manassas for Veteran’s Day.
On November 7 at 11:00 a.m., VetPar will be hosting the 7th Annual Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade to honor past and present female veterans, according to a release.

Our Grand Marshal is Brigadier General Wilma L. Vaught, USAF, Retired. Service representatives include: 1st Lieutenant Elizabeth Lewis, US Army Nurse Corps, WWII; Corporal Josephine Drummond, US Marine Corps, WWII; S1C Evelyn Marshall, US Navy WAVES, WWII; 1st Lieutenant Elizabeth Haynes, US Air Force, Korea; and Storekeeper First Class Magdalene Cobb, US Coast Guard (Retired), Vietnam. Marching and pipe bands include: American Originals Fyfe and Drum Corps; Kingsman Academy PCS Marching Knights; Osbourn “Screaming Eagles” Marching Band; Fusion Marching Cadets Jr., Drum and Bugle; Northern Virginia Firefighters Emeralds; and Police Pipes and Drums. There will be an Americans in Wartime Museum float and Sgt. Woody, a retired Marine Corps bomb dog will also join 60 other participants in this parade.
