Supporters of a Manassas-based non-profit will soon be indulging in barbecue.
Northern Virginia (NOVA) Veterans Association is hosting a Pig Out Competition in Triangle.
Slated for October 5, the program will feature eight barbecue competitors and three microbreweries.
Veteran vendors, a kids zone and live music are going to be offered, as well.
The event will take place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at American Legion Post 28, 17934 Liming Lane.
Advance tickets are available for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15.
Proceeds from the Pig Out Competition will support NOVA Veterans Association, a Manassas-based non-profit that seeks to connect veterans to available resources.
