Do you have used shoes that are collecting dust in the back of your closet?
Lake Ridge Rotary Club Past President and 7610 Early Act Club District Chair Wavery Brown is collecting them for Soles 4 Souls.
Gently-worn shoes are needed for infants and adults.
Some of the shoes donated will be used domestically, according to an email from Brown. Most will be worn by children around the world as they go to school, or sold by women who are supporting their families.
Donations can be dropped off at the Lake Ridge Rotary Club’s meetings on Wednesday or January 24. The club meets at 7:30 a.m. at Clearbrook Center of the Arts, 2230 Tacketts Mill Drive B in Lake Ridge.
Donors may also set up a time and location to meet Brown by emailing waverybrown@icloud.com.
