Prince William County volunteers are taking out the trash.
Several organizations and agencies, including Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition (PWTSC) and the Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District (PWSWCD), are participating in the 10th annual clean-up of the upper Occoquan River.
The event is occurring from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20.
It’s running in conjunction with the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Potomac River Watershed Cleanup.
Online registration is available for volunteers who have canoes, kayaks and jon boats, and those interested in cleaning up litter on land.
April 27 is the rain date.
