Looking for a creative and unique holiday activity for the family? Then go to the Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory in Manassas for Pysanky holiday ornament making workshop in Manassas.
The workshop is being held on December 10 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 9419 Battle Street.
Participants will be able to make ornaments in the Pysanky Ukrainian tradition, according to a release.
“In historic Ukraine, real egg shells were decorated and given as gifts to signify important events in a person’s life. In this afternoon workshop, students will discover the process of dye and beeswax layering to create intricate designs,” stated a release.
