The Trillium Drop-In Center is looking for donations of Christmas gifts to give to residents in-need with mental illness in Prince William.
“Many of the people Trillium serves are on disability, with very limited means. They help people who live with serious mental illness, including schizophrenia, bi-polar, anxiety, PTSD and depression,” stated a release.
This year, the staff at the center are looking to make the holidays a positive experience for their clients by providing them with food and some Christmas gifts, according to a release.
Throughout the year, the organization’s mission “is to help people learn about mental health recovery, stay out of the hospital, reduce crisis and increase life skills and teach them how to reach & and maintain stability and how to thrive in life,” according to a release.
Trillium Drop-In Center is looking for gift donations valued at around $20 – including food, coupons, services, gift cards, cash, and more – that can be distributed to their clients in need.
