A Triangle resident has some extra change in his pocket.
After going to the grocery store, George “Leo” Cayetano and his mom went to the SAI Express in Dumfries to purchase gas.
While at the gas station, which is located at 17164 Jefferson Davis Highway, Cayetano’s mom bought each of them lottery tickets for the Lucky 7s Multiplier game.
The scratcher he chose was the winner of $777,777, the top prize, according to a release from the Virginia Lottery.
Cayetano plans to use it on the family.
“Of course, I’m going to share it with my mother,” the computer engineer told the Virginia Lottery.
Players of the Lucky 7s Multiplier game can win between $10 to $777,777. They have a 1 in 3.27 chance of getting a prize, and a 1 in 734,400 possibility of winning the top prize.
