Volunteers did some spring cleaning on the Occoquan River.
Trash was removed from the waterway at the annual Occoquan River cleanup last month.
More than 50 bags of trash were collected near the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association (LRPRA) boat ramp and Old Bridge Road.
Tires and dock floats were taken out, as well, according to the Prince William Trails & Streams Coalition (PWTSC) website.
Much of the trash consisted of plastic products, including bottles.
