Citizens interested in Prince William County transportation projects may have their questions answered at an upcoming meeting.
Virginia Senator Scott Surovell and transportation agencies are hosting a mega-town hall on September 10.
Meeting attendees will learn about various transportation projects, including the widening of Route 1 and the bottleneck at I-95, Route 123, and Route 1, according to a release.
State Senator Jeremy McPike, and Virginia Delegates Hala Ayala, Jennifer Carroll Foy, Elizabeth Guzman, and Luke Torian will participate in the event, as well.
Community members can also speak with representatives from Transurban, Virginia Railway Express (VRE), the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC), Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), the Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT), and Prince William County Transportation.
The town hall will begin at 7 p.m. at the Workforce Development Center on Northern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge campus.
It will follow an open house, which will start 6:30 p.m.
