Gobble up some turkey at the Tournament of Turkeys this Saturday.
On November 21, Pitkin’s Dale City Ace Hardware is hosting the tournament at 11 a.m., where residents can come and test turkeys made using different cooking methods.
According to a release, Jason Hickman will be preparing the turkeys using different grills and smokers, including charcoal, gas, pellet, or convection cooking.
In addition to tasting the turkeys, participants are encouraged to cast a vote for their favorite turkey, and can receive a coupon for grilling and smoking accessories, according to a release.
