A new restaurant is making a historic building its home.
Karen and Travis Williams and Mike Hanley are opening Three Monkeys Pub & Chophouse at 9329 Main Street in Manassas this month.
“We are located in a 143-year-old church, which is a landmark in historic Manassas,” Owner Karen Williams said. “Upstairs is the pub, downstairs opening very soon — our grand opening on Valentine’s Day — is our chop house.”
The soft opening for the chophouse is starting on Thursday. Lunch will be offered through Saturday.
Customers of the all-American style pub can enjoy hamburgers, salads and quesadillas.
Salmon, swordfish, ribs and lamb shank are a few items that will be offered at the chophouse.
The business is also going to feature Desserts by Sue.
“Desserts by Sue are something special that only Three Monkeys Pub & Chophouse has,” Williams said. “Sue Green is a local Manassas native, and she’s well known around here for her baking skills.”
Apple custard pie, homemade cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake mexican brownies are among the dessert options.
Two spaces — a chophouse and a banquet room — can be used for private and corporate events.
“The banquet room is quite large — we can have up to 175 people in there,” Williams said. “So, weddings, wedding receptions, private parties — anything you want to do, we can make it happen.”
