Businesses are receiving an extension to pay for one of their taxes.
Prince William County moved the Business Tangible Personal (BTP) Property tax deadline to May 17. The filing was originally due on April 15.
The extension is meant to assist businesses that have been affected by COVID-19, according to a release from Prince William County.
It also lines up with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) deadline, which was extended to May 17.
More information on the BTP Property Tax deadline extension can be found on the Finance page of the county’s website, or by contacting Taxpayer Services at 703-792-6710 or TaxpayerServices@pwcgov.org.
