A Dale City fundraiser is serving up food from local restaurants.
Project Mend-A-House (PMAH) is hosting its Taste of the Town on October 23.
PMAH is a Manassas-based non-profit that serves low-income seniors, veterans and those who have disabilities.
“What we do is exactly what our title says — we mend houses, we do small home repairs, and we are the only charity of its kind like this in the county,” PMAH Board Chair MA Sargo said.
The 19th annual program will begin at 6 p.m. at VFW Post 1503, 14371 Minnieville Road in Dale City.
It will offer food from more than 25 businesses, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes.
Tickets for Taste of the Town may be purchased at the door or on PMAH’s website. They cost $25 for adults and $10 for children.
Sponsorships are also available. More information can be found on the website.
