What do military tanks, reenactors, and activities for children have in common? They can all be found in Nokesville in a few months.
These features as well as food trucks, support groups for veterans, and a variety of demonstrations are a part of the 2023 Tank Farm Open House.
The annual program is run by the Americans in Wartime Experience, a non-profit that seeks to honor those who served and educate the public.
This year, the Tank Farm Open House is slated for August 26 and 27. It will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at 13906 Aden Road.
Donations for the event and Americans in Wartime Experience project will be collected. However, they are not required to attend the program.
