Military equipment is rolling out.
Next month, the National Museum of Americans in Wartime (NMAW) will host its Tank Farm Open House.
NMAW is a local non-profit.
“Our primary focus is telling the stories of servicemen and women in peacetime and in wartime,” Operations Manager Marc Sehring said.
During the open house, military equipment will be displayed.
Reenactors, demonstrations and food trucks will also be featured at the annual event, which is slated for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 7 and September 8.
The family-friendly event is taking place at the Tank Farm, 13906 Aden Road in Nokesville.
