Next month, military vehicles will be roaming across a Nokesville property.
The Americans in Wartime Experience is bringing back its Tank Farm Open House on August 26 and 27.
Reenactments, food trucks, activities for youth, and demonstrations will be featured at the event. It’s taking place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day at the Tank Farm, 13906 Aden Road.
There is no entrance fee, but the Americans in Wartime Experience is accepting donations. The proceeds will support the non-profit’s museum project and the event.
Registration and more information is on the Americans in Wartime Experience website.
Tank Farm Open House volunteers are needed to assist with various tasks, such as the scavenger hunt, checking attendees in, and processing merchandise sales.
Those who would like to help with the event should email Director of Administration Heidi Jenkins at hjenkins@AmericansInWartime.org.
