Two fun fall events are coming up in Dale City and Manassas.
The first event is the Grill & Plate Tailgate on October 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woodbine Hardware at 13418 Dumfries Road in Manassas.
During the event there will be seasonal treats and half-time meets offered fresh from the grill on-site.
The other upcoming event is the Tournament of Turkeys on November 18 at Pitkin’s Ace Hardware in Dale City at 4340 Dale Boulevard.
Cooking will begin at 7 a.m. and there will be turkey tasting between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Throughout the events there will be grilled treats, tips, and information on techniques for your own Thanksgiving turkey. There will be a contest to see which turkey cooking method comes out on top.
