Middle and high school students will be developing their skill set this summer.
Leadership Prince William (LPW), a non-profit in Manassas, is having an information meeting about its Summer Youth Academy (SYA) on Monday.
SYA is offered for rising seventh- through ninth-graders, who participate in activities and field trips.
They also gain various skills, including team building, time management and conflict resolution.
This year’s academy is running from July 15 through July 26.
Parents who would like to learn more about the program may attend the upcoming meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. at Mayfield Intermediate School in Manassas.
