A unique summer experience awaits young leaders.
Leadership Prince William (LPW) is accepting applications for the 2020 Summer Youth Academy.
Seventh- through ninth-grade students may participate in the program, which is running from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday between July 13 and July 24.
During the two week academy, participants will build their communication, leadership and team-building skills, according to an email from LPW.
They also have an opportunity to attend field trips, meet leaders, and work on a community service project.

An information session for the Summer Youth Academy has been scheduled for March 11. It will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Osbourn High School, 1977 Eagle Way in Manassas.
