Summer classes are opening up.
Registration is available for the Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) Adult Education Program.
A few classes – GED, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and computer basics – will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from July 19 to August 26.
Participants can choose between two time slots: 9 a.m. to Noon or 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to a release from the school system. Tuition is $100.
Community members may also sign up for GED classes that focus on certain subjects.
The classes will meet between 6 and 9 p.m. twice a week July 19 through August 26 and cost $50. Language arts and social studies are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, with math and science taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
ESOL Community Engagement Classes are running from July 20 to October 7 and cost $100. They are slated for 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
No summer classes will be held August 16 through August 20.
