A Triangle-based non-profit is seeking creative pieces.
Until January 15, community members may submit entries for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s 2020 Annual Awards Program, according to a release from the foundation.
Established 40 years ago, the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation supports historical programs.
Judges will consider submissions for 17 categories, such as literature, photography, and journalism.
The awardees will be honored at the annual awards ceremony on May 9. In addition to a gold medallion award, they will receive a Semper Fidelis Memorial Park brick and they may get $2,000.
