Those looking to become pet parents can meet new friends at an upcoming adoption event.
A St. Pawtricks Day Pet O’dopt-A-THON event is being hosted by the Prince William County Animal Shelter on March 16 and March 17.
Sponsored by the Prince William Humane Society, the program will offer discounts pets that are available at the shelter and the society’s adopt shop, according to a release.
Each adopted animal will receive a goodie bag that gains a toy, treats, and a free follow-up exam at Minnieville Animal Hospital.
The adopt shop, located at 17983 Dumfries Shopping Place in Dumfries, and the animal shelter, which is at 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas, are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 16 and from Noon to 4 p.m. on March 17.
