A supporter of education is under new leadership.
Dawn Davis has been named the executive director of SPARK Education Foundation.
SPARK, a non-profit, collects funds that benefit Prince William County schools and teachers.
Its scholarship program supports students who are pursuing careers in teaching, nursing, as well as technology, engineering and math.
Davis is also the new director of Community Outreach, Business Partnerships, and Philanthropy for Prince William County Public Schools’ (PWCS).
She previously served as Apple Federal Credit Union’s director of community engagement and president of SPARK’s Board of Directors, according to a release from PWCS.
