Get ready to hear the sweet musical sounds of Virginia, performed by the Woodbridge Music Club.
According to a release, the Woodbridge Music Club is hosting a musical performance titled ‘Journey Through Virginia’ that will represent the different areas of the Commonwealth.
The performance will be held on April 9 at 7 p.m. at the St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1400 G Street in Woodbridge, stated a release.
More on the performance, from a release:
This concert will feature the work of photographer Beth Miller-Herholtz accompanied by vocal, piano, harp, marimba, violin, and flute performances by members of the Woodbridge Music Club. Ms. Miller-Herholtz speaks of the inspiration that led to this collaboration:
The Commonwealth of Virginia offers a blend of landscapes, parks, museums, and history that beckon many to her shores and trails. Monuments and memorials remind of us of our country’s evolution, from Jamestown to Mount Vernon, through Appalachia to the Piedmont and the Shenandoah.
Getting a little mud on the boots and the tripod is often my favorite way to experience and interpret the world around us.
The concert is free of charge, but donations will be accepted.
