The wait is almost over for lovers of Sonic.
This month, the restaurant is opening its Manassas site.
Located at 10850 Promenade Lane, the business is replacing a former Burger King. It stands on an estimated 1.3 acres west of the Balls Ford Road-Sudley Road intersection.
A date for the opening hasn’t been announced.
Ale Iraheta, a BCW senior account executive who’s representing Sonic, said in an email that the business is “opening by the end of the month.”
The Board of County Supervisors (BOCS) approved a special use permit for the Sonic in May.
