There’s someone new in charge at the City of Manassas Department of Social Services.
Michele Gehr has been named the new Director of Social Services.
She will be responsible for supervising the department, which seeks to protect youth and share information about available resources with community members, according to a release from the City of Manassas.
Gehr served as a strategic program leader for more than 10 years.
After receiving her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, she attended Columbia University in New York City, While at Columbia University, Gehr earned her master’s in Social Work.
