It may be a messy ride home tonight.
A ‘Hazardous Weather Outlook’ is in effect for this evening for Prince William and surrounding areas, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
According to the NWS alert, snow showers are expected this afternoon and early evening, and some of the snow may accumulate and cause icy road conditions.
There is also a wind advisory in effect for the evening, as wind is expected to get up to 50 mph, according to the NWS.
