Just when you thought it was over for a while, it appears that the area will be getting some snowfall today, potentially through Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Prince William is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, and they’re calling for a rain-snow mix today that will transition to full snow later in the evening.
It’s possible that snow will continue into Tuesday, although there’s been no firm estimates on accumulation, according to NWS.

A RAIN SNOW MIX WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION LATER TODAY…AND TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW LATE TONIGHT.
A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN POSTED FOR METRO BALTIMORE. ADDITIONAL ADVISORIES OR WARNINGS MAYBE POSSIBLE.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION TUESDAY.
A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT FOR METRO BALTIMORE…WHERE 7 OR MORE INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN 24 HOURS.
