There’s about a 30% chance that you could see snow in your morning commute tomorrow.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), there are hazardous commuting conditions possible as the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro could see less than an inch of accumulation on roadways.
They’re projecting the snow will fall between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m.
“If this threat does materialize during the Wednesday morning rush-hour, many roads could quickly turn icy. This could lead to dangerous traveling conditions, multiple accidents, and extensive delays,” stated NWS.
NWS is asking commuters to plan for the chance of travel disruptions and consider using teleworks options.
Additionally, NWS is calling for “dangerously cold wind chills [that] are possible New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.”
