Be prepared for what could be a difficult and snowy commute tonight.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), there is a chance for some snow and snow showers tonight as an arctic front moves through the area.
The NWS stated in a Tweet that there’s a 50/50 chance for snow between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. tonight. If that happens, the ice cold roads in the area that are untreated would turn to ice, according to NWS.
Through the weekend with wind chill, it will likely be five degrees below zero on Saturday night into Sunday morning, and there is a threat of additional snow late Sunday night through Monday night, according to NWS.
