We could see snow until 1 p.m. today.
As many of you can probably see outside, snow is falling in Prince William, and the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued Winter Storm Warnings for the area.
The warning will be in effect until 11 a.m.
“Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute,” stated NWS.
As of 8:30 a.m. this morning, a snow spotter said that there was already 0.6 inches of snow accumulation in Prince William.
One to two inches of snow accumulation is expected today.
Wind chill today will be between zero to -10. Tonight could see wind chill values at -5.
“The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin,” stated NWS.
We’ll keep you posted if anything changes.
